Sally Birchall

Sally started West Coast Physiotherapy 12 years ago and is supported by an amazing team. She is an extensively trained Physiotherapist with over 20+ years clinical experience in private practice. She has a background in high performance sports having previously worked with Snow Sports NZ & the Winter Performance Programme supporting the NZ Skeleton Racing Team & NZ Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Team athletes to achieve their goals, culminating in a Physiotherapy role within the Winter Olympics Team 2014. Sally has a clinical Masters (Manipulative Therapy), her dissertation focussing on Lumbar spine instability. She is passionate about improving the musculoskeletal health outcomes of patients on the West Coast and can most often be found wearing a helmet of some sort, indulging her passion for adventure racing and the outdoors.
